Post subject:  Commander hardware versions

I just purchased a CyberCommander used. According to the sellers photo (stock website photo) it should have an antenna. This one does not. What exactly do I have. Is this an inferior older unit? Do these units work? I realize this is my doing but I didn't realize there could be multiple hardware versions. Is there a modification I do?

Thanks for any assistance.

If it does not have an antenna, then it is a unit that was purchased before December 2010. While I cannot speak of an individual unit, these remotes do still work in the same capacity as the current Cyber Commanders. The predominant difference is the external antenna versions do have a longer range. Your version can trigger up to 100', while the external antenna version can trigger up to 300'.

We can repair Cyber Commanders, should this one have any operational issues.

Thank you very much for the information. I believe the 100' should be adequate in most cases...now just to find a transceiver. Love your products.
