Im a beginner, so please advise...There is a studio im intersted in using however their strobe lights come with a sync cord you plug into your camera that disconnects the slave option...I dont own a slave so I need to use this but it doenst fit into my canon eos..IS there an adapter out there I need to purchase?

You will have to be far more specific than that. Which EOS do you have? What remotes, specifically is available? As specific as possible.
