Hi there:

I need to buy flashtubes for this Ultra 600. Can you tell from this photo whether I will need the straight wire flash tubes or the banana plug flash tubes?

http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2NVgxNjAw/ ... H/$_57.JPG

Also, If I will be using this strobe along with some speedlights, should I get the NON UV-Coated tubes? (I believe my speedlights are closer to 5,600K than they are to 5,200K)

And which modeling light will I need with for this light?

Thanks in advance.

Oh, one more thing:

Will the barndoors and the old grid that currently fit on my WL10,000 series lights also fit directly on to a 7AB/R reflector?

You would need the the banana plug style flash tubes for this head, and you will need 2 of them. For my money I would go with UV coated tubes, and gel the speedlites if it causes a color problem. UV light can cause horrible color casts, even with quality modifiers. White clothing, back drops, background paper, etc can be treated with optical brighteners which can fluoresce.

Yes, the GS1 grid and barndoors will fit on an AB7/R

Thank you so much for confirming the banana plug flash tubes and the UV coating.

Also, is there a speedring available that you know of that would work with my Photoflex litedome softbox? I used it successfully with the WLPA on my WL10,000 so I just need to find a speedring.

I could ask photoflex, but it would help to know the diameter of the holes in the WLPA (right now my WLPA is missing so I can't measure it myself.)

The LGSR found here: http://www.paulcbuff.com/speedrings.php should work fine. Speedring diameters tend to be 7" and I know the LGSR and WLPA are the same from rod to rod openings.

Thanks for the update.

Hopefully customer service will be able to add it to my order (I just emailed them).
