Hi,

Would I be able to shoot @ f11 Iso 100 using 2 AB400s and 2 64" PLM soft silver?
Oh, distance of lights from the subject/s would be at approx 8ft

Thanks

Yes . . . easily, even with one AB400 and PLM SS.

With diffusion fabric, you will probably need both, but you should get it.

even if you don't (lights further back or whatever), ISO 200 and 400 are virtually non-issues anymore.

Thank you very much for your response. I mostly shoot in my small studio ( 12'x19') and my 4 ab 400 serve me well, however I am getting alot of request to shoot in photobooth. I was initially thinking of swapping my 400s for 800s but im afraid to have unusable and uncontrollable power which I would get from 800s, That is why In this special case ( shooting in photobooth) I opt to get more efficient modifiers versus upgrading my lights. I hope I am making the right decision

I think the Soft Silver PLM will be a great choice for many uses, especially if the diffusion fabrics are on hand. Again, ISO 200 or 400 is totally usable in most cameras anyway.

I don't think you will need the upgrade, but, you do have a 60 day return policy if you would like to trade, or a two year upgrade window to have the 400's modified and upgraded to 800 or 1600.
