Hello, I have a Cyber Commander and 2 Einstein strobes. On my Cyber Commander: All > CH 01 > CH 02 When I test, in hand, that is when I press the right joystick down, everything works just fine. "All" triggers both flashes, CH 01 only flash 1, and CH 02 flash 2. But, when I put the Cyber Commander on camera, flash 1 is triggered even though the controller is set to CH 02. This does not make sense. Would you consider this normal? |

Yes, this is as designed performance. This allows you to make changes to a light, without having to scroll all the way back to ALL before continuing taking photographs. If you would like to take a photo using one light, but not the other, I would recommend using the GROUPS function (click once to the left of ALL. You will see GRP8). You can place one light on GRP8 and one on GRP7. When a "GRP" is selected, only the lights assigned to that group will fire via the hotshoe. |

So If I want to take a picture with no flash at all, to measure ambiant light for instance, I must go to an empty group, right? If i set the CC on any of the 16 channels available, or the All option, the flash will trigger. Correct? Thanks for the quick reply BTW. |

To meter, you can go to an empty channel. If you spec a channel as OTHER>UNDEFINED, you will get a meter marker like you do with the channels with lights. To take a test shot with no lights firing, then you can go to a Group with no active lights. |
