Hey so today at my job the vegabond mini showed it had full power but my ab800 or abr800 would not go off... finally it began to go off after trying and trying.... then I noticed that it would go off when I took the shot but I had to wait like 4 seconds for it to go off again .. I noticed when the strobe flashed the power light on the ab800 or abr800 would dimm all the way and slowly light back again .. the whole shoot I had to wait 4 seconds between every shot for them to work. The strobes are fine I checked them at my house so it has to be the vegabond mini its less then 6 months old anyone know what the issue can be thanks.

Are you using both the ABR800 and AB800 at full simultaneously? If so, 4 second recycle time would be normal, as each would have a 2 second recycle time on the VML.

Are you using model lamps? If so, the light is consuming more power than it would with only the strobe firing. This can cause multiple issues, including slower recycle times, reduced number of flashes, and possibly overheating of the Vagabond. We recommend not using the model lamp when using the Vagabond.

If you are using only one light, and no model lamps, are you able to measure the voltage coming from the AC outlets?
