Curious if any of the Buff gear will allow for TTL/auto flash control with a Canon or Nikon body? Something to get away from manual settings and constant fiddling of the controls for changing scenes. Seems like maybe some sort of CyberCommander for reflected light might do that automatically? Tia. Mack |

No. There are very few, if even more than one, studio light on the market that supports TTL, and that one is quite expensive. One basic requirement for a TTL light is an IGBT control, and only our Einstein has such control. Even then, it is not designed in such a way that would support TTL, even if we wanted to release a firmware update to do so. TTL is outside the scope of our products as it tends to be inconsistent in studio, is ever evolving, and depending on other companies' whims as to when and how it will change. Not to mention the number of companies there are in the market. With our company having limited resources, we need to stick to our core market of quality manual flash. |
