I recently acquired a Canon G15 and have tried unsuccessfully to use my Cybersync CST with it to fire my studio flash units. The camera does not have a problem firing dedicated Canon TTL flash equipment. I have yet to discover a setting in the camera or a work-around to remedy this. Will this camera only 'play nice' with dedicated flash gear?

Thanks for any help on this!

Dan Jackson

This is typically a camera setting. Often the drive mode is the culprit, with continuous drive not triggering non dedicated devices. The camera manual should discuss this on the section that pertains to the hotshoe (though it may not).
