Last time I used my alien b400 (about a week ago) the bulb blew out and gave out nothing. Now it turns on and the modeling light works but will it not flash with either the test flash or the sync cord. I've tried a new bulb and get the same results. Is this something I can fix on my own?

Are you getting a green ready light on the back panel? If not, then the unit is not charging, and it will need to come in for service, regardless of flashtube.

If the green light is on, but even changing a flash tube does not work, then the unit will still likely need to come in for service.
