One of the two new Einsteins I just received does not flash when TEST button fired. (although modeling lamp does dim and ringer dings when recharged)\I have light set with Easy Set. Modeling lamp increases/decreases with control but no way to fire flash test. Also, that Einstein does not show up in my Cyber Commander. Tried ALL on frequency 1, tried seperate frequencies. If both lights are on Freq 1, and I turn the Einstein that does test flash, OFF, then the lamp on the Freq 1 Bar in Cyber Commmander DOES control the lamp that will not test flash. Any ideas on fix to this? Thanks JImmy |

On second view, This Einstein does not flash...period. The modelling light dims but no flash. Tried manually to trigger flash, removed RF control, tried with sync cord to camera and to light meter trigger. No dice...no flash. All other aspects seem to work.....setting power on flash shows up in GUI onscreen, as does modelling light bar, beep,all elelctronic commands appear fine. Any ideas? Thanks |

Found out why this Light does not flash. Finally looked at the flash tube. Took the dome off and there is an obvious 1/8th inch hole right on the flash tube....apparently where the glass blower broke off the blow tube. All else looks good but I have requested Buff send replecement tube. Thanks JImmy |
