I picked up a ZAGG Invisible Shield cell phone screen protector to fit on the CyberCommander screen.

Is there anything you know of that could cause a problem? My concern is that the adhesive for the screen protector will react with the plastic of the screen on the CC.

If this works out I'm going to do the same thing to the displays on my Einsteins.

I have not heard one way or another of any screen protectors causing damage to the CC or E640. I would doubt any adhesive used on products for that puropse would craze the clear plastic. If any issues should arise, it would still be covered under warranty.

First the CC is an amazing device. I use the heck out of the thing. I was a little concerned about getting scratches on the screen so I put a Zagg screen protector on it.

Works like it was made for it. You have to cut the thing down to fit and be a little patient for the micro bubbles of trapped fluid to disappear. (The kit comes with a spray bottle of some fluid) But in a day or so you can't even tell there's a screen protector on there.

Also has a slight anti-glare effect that knocks down some reflections.

For the E640s I cut up a screen protector meant for an iPad. It's a different material than the Zagg protector.

The iPad SP is a harder material with no real anti-glare, plus the edges didn't seal completely. The Zagg SP is more elastic, has some anti-glare and seals like a second skin.

Zagg SP $7 off eBay. iPad SP free with case.

Should keep the screens of both the CC and the E640s scratch free for a long time.

Great idea, Photoflight.

My first CC did manage to get a rub mark on the screen, best to play it safe! :)
