Hello Paul, will that work with the resigned PLMs? http://www.lastolite.com/triflash-sync.php After having observed the pictures can you state if a perfect positioning is possible? Thank you. |

The Umbrella should mount with no problems. You will probably want to use a diffuser dome, like teh ones included with Nikon SB800/900 or Stofen omnibounce, etc. This allows omnidirectional light to fill the umbrella. Since there is not light source on teh lower half of the bracket, the light may not be totally even leaving the PLM, but would not likely be overly evident in the image. Also, speedlites being designed the way they are, the light may not be as focused as, say, an Einstein or Alien Bee. It would be impossible to state the performance, as we have not tested with this bracket, as well it could change depending on the speedlites used. You will want to move the PLM so that the diffuser sits just inside the outer edge of the umbrella (though experimentation may show there is a better position). |
