I know this has been asked frequently, so... we now have the Paul C. Buff single light carry bag (PCBBAG) available to order. This bag is designed to hold the Einstein with 8.5" reflector. This will hold any Alien Bees or Zeus head (except ringflashes) with a 7 or 8.5" reflector as well. There is also a pocket on the top that can hold any of our Cyber Sync remote units.

THANKS!! I almost ordered 4 alien bee bags when I ordered my einsteins, and was told these would fit better, and be available soon--so I just placed my order :-)

I like the pocket on top idea, too.

Nice, shame I just received 3 of the regular ones.

Oh well, not using them anyway as I took my old impact carry case which now holds all three lights, 4 stands, 3 umbrella, reflectors, power strips, grids etc all in one nice case. (though heavy as crap :D )

Sure....

This is the one though mine came with the light kit I bought a year ago. It's quite roomy

Thanks! It looks like a great option. With the new einsteins, modifiers, etc., I am working out how to organize, store, and do location work. Lots of options to sort thru...

Regarding the Impact light bag, I have two of them, both have failed. The straps do not go all the way around the body of the bag as it would appear in the photos - the carry straps connect to the body of the bag by way of a narrow rectangular plastic part.

This part has a habit of self-destructing, which has caused me to drop the bag more than once. It is not possible to fix this either - it was sewn in place and the channel left behind is too small for any fix that I see.

Both bags I have are sitting in the basement of the studio, collecting dust. I now use a giant Photoflex rolling trunk. Works well. Huge though.

The bag (back to the original post!) seems like a good buy at $13. Just be careful when you flip the lid open to not flip your transmitter/receiver out on to the ground!

Not readily seen in the photo is the pocket of the PCB Bag does have a flap with a hook and loop closure.

Man, sorry to hear of your trouble. Not doubting your word, maybe the changed something mid production? The straps do go all the way around on mine. I've hauled it all over fully loaded and other than being dirty it's still in perfect shape.
