I was wondering what kind of impact a really, really low wattage modeling lamp would have on the health/capacity of a Vagabond 2? I want the recycle complete indication from the lamp coming back on. Would a 5W (or ideally less) lamp draw down the battery too much?

Something that low should be fine. It would not stress the inverter and would not draw a huge amount of power. Be sure you are not using a CFL style bulb, however.

Thanks for the no-cfl heads up, that probably would've been my first type to try.

I just did some shots with Einstein modeling on and set at about 40W. Worked fine.
