I store my Alien Bees in a Storm Case brand case (similar to pelican) that has the cubed foam rubber inserts. I've been noticing a tacky film on the casing of the Alien Bees that I never had when they were stored in the previous non-foam rubbered case.

Anyone else have this experience storing their Alien Bees in foam rubber cases like these?

Our WLC case had some of that foam, however, i have never heard of such film from any of our users. How old is the foam, and is it stored in high temperture environments?

The case is only about a year old. Usually store inside my house at highs of mid 70's.

Sorry, don't know what would cause that. My first inclination would be some type of breakdown of the foam, but I hate to jump to conclusions.
