I began to have charging issues with my vagabond that I purchased in June 10'. After moderate use of the pack I returned home and pluged in my vagabond and it failed to charge. I thought it maybe be the fuse. I checked it, it was fine, I then moved the charging cord to another outlet thinking that it maybe the outlet , nothing. I then wiggled the cord at the charging point on the vagabond and it came on and then went off. I then called to get support. I described the issue and informed the young lady that I felt that the issue was the cord itself not the jack at the inverter and if there was anyway to get a replacement cord sent to me. She said she felt it was the jack at the inverter and I should send it in to be looked at. I sent the vagabond AND the cord I felt was the core issue......

$31.75 later (shipping back to you) I received my vagabond back today (with a new serial number) which is a great turn around, however as soon as I received it I attempted to charge it and nothing. I then plugged in my ab800's and did a series a pops thinking that with the great service I have received before that I received a fully charged pack. I then attempted to charge it again nothing.

I then called another vagabond II owner to see if I could test my pack with his charging cord and jackpot! It worked.

I am very disappointed. I could have saved $$ by having the representative send a replacement cord in the first place.

I am still need in of a NEW charging cord.

You have excellent products and service I hope this was just a hiccup.

We should be able to ship you a replacement cord, just call customer service on Monday and explain what happened. In the interim, the same cord is often used on power blocks for laptops, battery chargers (AA type and camera type), boom boxes, game consoles, kitchen appliances, etc. These can be used to charge the VII until the replacement arrives.

That charging cord is a VERY standard cord and is easily found locally. My IBM laptop's charger uses that cord and a lot of other items I own use that type of cord.

Very easy to pick that cord up at Radio Shack.

You can buy it brand new for $2.00 + shipping and handling here:
