So I bought a vagabond in may of this year, I'm on a shoot and the bond sparks up and blows when I plug it in.

So I figure no big deal I hear pcb is great and I shouldn't have a issue with this.

So I call today and I'm told I need to pay for shipping and they need to check it out and it's gonna take at least a week to take care of the repair once they've received it. So I'm getting stuck with a shoot in 3 days and I've been told we have a loner but can't get it to me and I need to pay for everything and a full amount of a loner vagabond.

So I'm left sitting here knowing it's gonna cost me 30 bucks and out a vagabond. So is this how this always is with PCB?

I work in customer service , and I'm very disappointed that I need to spend even a cent in getting a product I paid for repaired. I hear all the time about the famous support this place has to offered and right now I'll have to disagree with it.

From my own personal experience and what I've read of others I think that I can safely say that what you are going through right now is the exception rather than the norm. I'm not sure what else to tell you... what are you looking for here? Just to air your frustrations?

I don't understand- "...and I need to pay for everything and a full amount of a loner vagabond."

I'm hoping someone else here can confirm what I'm getting the the raw end of the deal. Paying for shipping, and paying the price (on a hold) for a loner vagabond vs just shipping a new one with return labels. It's obvious this has been a issue with the vagabonds previously this seems to happen a lot.

I just got off of the phone with their customer service and was told the same thing. My vagabond has a short in the AC plug and keeps randomly loosing power. I'm very disappointed because I thought it wouldn't be a problem for them to send me one with a return label. I have several shoots coming up and really need it and don't think I should have to pay to ship it back or loose business while I wait. I'm probably going to be out at least $30 shipping and I don't know what I'm going to do about my upcoming shoots.

First, I must remind everyone that this is a technical support forum. However, I will have our customer service manager contact both stand and Drumnut01. Please keep in mind our factory warranty does not cover the shipping cost to us, but it does cover shipping costs back to the customer, if the destination is within the U.S.. Any international customer is responsible for shipping in both directions.

As this is not a tech question, this thread will be locked.
