I wonder if somebody will be kind enough to tell me the exact diameter of the AB 7' honeycomb grids.
The reason I ask is because I want to know if I can use the AB grids with a strobe reflector that measure 6.8 inches (17.5 cm) on the inside top lip diameter.

they are about 16.5cm, with a spring loaded tab. They would probably hold somewhat in a 17.5cm reflector, but not very well, and there would be too much leakage around the perimeter.

Thanks a lot for your reply. As about the grids size, I'm afraid that you are right, the light spill will be, most probably, too much.
