Is there any reason to use the shower cap, blocker and the grid together on the white 22" bd? I need the grid but wonder if I can use (should use) the blocker and/or the cap.

Thanks,

Jeff

Without the blocker, no matter what else you use, you will get light going from tube to subject (even if only a little). With the blocker, all light is reflected, and therefore diffused. You can use any one modifier for that BD, or any combination or all of them. With it being the white dish, and being used with the blocker, you probably would not see a whole lot of difference with or without the sock when used with a grid. If you use the diffuser with the grid, be sure to put the grid on after the diffuser, as it will negate the effect of the grid if placed over the grid.
